1550-Series | Die-Cast Aluminum Enclosures from Hammond

The 1550-series from Hammond Manufacturing consists of rugged die-cast aluminum enclosures that are both tough and easy to machine. The "lap joint" construction provides protection against dust and splashing water, as well as improved EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosures are designed to meet IP54, and with an optional gasket, some models can be certified to IP66 and IP67. The enclosures are available in a smooth, unpainted finish or with a durable black powder coat, making them suitable for a wide variety of electronic instruments and projects.
