The 1455-series from Hammond Manufacturing consists of rugged extruded aluminum enclosures, specifically designed to house printed circuit boards. These boards can be slid horizontally into internal slots within the enclosure. The enclosures are available with various finishes, such as black, blue, red, and clear anodized, providing high durability and a professional appearance.

The series is available in various dimensions and configurations, including models with integrated flanges for easy wall mounting, and models with or without a removable "belly plate" for convenient access to internal components. Each enclosure comes with the necessary mounting hardware, such as screws and self-adhesive rubber feet.
